Acton Road Committee Meeting 

May 23, 2019

Committee Members Present:  Chair Leslie Berlan, Cindy Hart and Brendan Meehan. Joe Letourneau, Joyce Bakshi and Tucker also present.

Meeting opened with the Salute to the Flag at 5:00 pm

  Discussions

1)  Motion made by Leslie Berlan to approve the BOS proposed Road Committee ordinance.  Second by Brendan Meehan. Vote to approve 2-1.

2) Motion made by Leslie Berlan to approve BOS proposed Road Commissioner ordinance.  Second by Cindy Hart.  Vote to approve 3-0.

3) Discussion about BOS proposed Road Ordinance.  Road committee believes the ordinance needs more public discussion and is premature.  Vote to accept ordinance 0-3.

4)  State grant proposal for culverts deadline is the beginning of June.  There will be a second round of grants in September.  Committee discussed a few of the culverts which are more in need of repair and replacement.

5) Next meeting scheduled for June 5th.
