No action. Jeremy asked about the fees that the Town can charge, would they be returned to the customers. Tony said if the Town receives fees, they will be used to promote online programing from the Town Hall and school.

(B) TOWN MEETING DATE:

Nancy reported that Superintendent Brian Beeler had brought in a 77 page proposal by the governor to reduce the number of school districts from 290 to 26 . Acton would be in region 26 with 16 other area towns. One of the drawbacks would be that the district would own our building but might not be undertaking the debt. Also, funding would be based on the town’s valuation, so we would be paying more. The present school board would be eliminated and we would have less representation. Brian wants these issues to be made public.
