TOWN OF ACTON
SELECTMEN’S MEETING
JANUARY 23, 2007
1. PUBLIC FORUM:
Jennifer Roux came into the meeting and said that the Town needs to determine who owns UNIX and the windows server and router before the NDS programs are discontinued.
Also she reported there is check request on today’s payroll because of back work that needed to be done on the Voter Registration list. The State reported 200 errors on the program that need to be addressed. It will be necessary to send out letters to confirm status of many registered voters and considerable information had to be entered.

The State does not use the method that David Cote employed to measure the span - they measure under the span. Percy noted the need to establish if the Town of Acton owns the entire bridge or just one half. Joe is still working on Britesides Program. Approved and signed. Approved as written. Approved as written. Percy asked the proper procedure to deal with disposal of Town-owned land on Flat Ground Road. He noted it is his understanding that an abutter wishes to purchase it. He recommends that the Town put the land up for sale. Nancy said the selectmen will take it under consideration.
