SELECTMEN’S MEETING

 TOWN OF ACTON

SALUTE TO THE FLAG

1.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA:  Approved as written.

2.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING:  Approved as written.

3. OLD BUSINESS: None

4. NEW BUSINESS:

 

 1. DEDICATION OF 2011 TOWN REPORT: Larissa presented Louise Horn with an autographed Town Report and a bouquet of flowers. Lorraine read the dedication to Louise Horn.

 2. ABATEMENTS: Darlene Ham, $17.11; Roger Roy $181.36; Richard and Kathleen Melanson, $303.40; Warren and Mary Gulezian, $95.77. On a motion by Larissa all the listed abatements were granted.

 3. TOWN HALL USE POLICY: Second Reading: Bill read the policy with the changes that had been made. On a motion by Larissa the policy was adopted and signed.

OTHER BUSINESS: No other business.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Still need volunteers for Cable Committee, and 3 alternate members of Board of Assessment Review

Ted announced a Planning Board Public Hearing on January 5, 7pm, Selectman Public Hearing  January 12, 7pm,  and Special Town Meeting on February 7, 7pm, at the Acton Elementary School to amend the Zoning Ordinance to include the International Building Code.

Larissa announced her car had been broken into in her dooryard and her purse and diaper bag stolen.  The police offer this advice, “Please lock your car.”
