1.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA:  Approved as written.

2.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

3. OLD BUSINESS: None.

 

4. NEW BUSINESS:

 

1. MAINE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION: REQUEST SELECTMEN  SIGN OVER LIMIT PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS: A Construction area has been established by the Maine Department of Transportation on Route 109 beginning .06miles southerly of the Shapleigh/Acton town line and extending northerly 3.84 miles. On a motion by Larissa, Selectmen signed an Overload Permit for the purpose  of using loads and equipment  on town ways in th area, in excess of the specified limits.

 

2. ABATEMENTS: Belyea, $15.79; Cookson Jr. $69.06;Richard and Joyce Foley, $125.99 Mark Hope, $65.70.: On a motion by Larissa, Selectmen signed abatements for the above listed.

 

5. OTHER BUSINESS: None

 

6. ANNOUNCEMENTS: 1 alternate member of Board of Assessment Review is needed. Larissa reported Odyssey of the Mind at the Acton School on Saturday, from to .

At a meeting with the Warrant and Finance Committee to hear requests for donations to be on the June Town meeting warrant was  convened. Those present requesting funds were Linda Schier for Acton-Wakefield Watershed Alliance, Great East Lake Association and Horn Pond;  Joan Sylverter for York County Shelter;  Laurie duPaul for Child Abuse Prevention; Brad Bohon for York County Community Acton,; Larissa Crockett spoke for the Busy Workers; and Mary Waterhouse and Elise Miller spoke for The Acton Public Library.
