1.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as written but with paving bids to be the last item of new business.

2.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

3.  OLD BUSINESS:  None

4. NEW BUSINESS: 

 

  b. OPEN SAND BIDS: The bids were opened and the quotes were:

 

                                    Turk                             $5.10 per yard

                                    Rudy Pepin                   $4.95 per yard

                                    STS                             $5.98 per yard

                                    David Pepin                  $6.00 per yard.

Selectmen asked the Road Commissioners to go to Rudy Pepin’s pit on West Shore Drive to look at the quality of the sand.

c. APPOINTMENT TO ZBA: On a motion by Bill,  J. Robert Bauman was appointed as Alternate Member of the ZBA.

d. SIGN WARRANT FOR REFERENDUM: On a motion by Bill, the warrant was signed.

a. OPEN PAVING BIDS: The following bids were received:

            F.R. Carroll  $72.40 per ton, $140 per ton for handwork, Curbing $6.45 per ft.

            Torno  $71.40 per ton, $120 per ton handwork, Curbing $6.80 per ft.

 

5. OTHER BUSINESS: None

6. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Public Hearing Thursday, October 11 for Referendum ballot question

Wednesday, October 17, 10 am State of Maine Liquor License hearing, Acton Town Hall, for Potting Shed.
