1.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as written.

2.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

 

3.  OLD BUSINESS: None

 

4. NEW BUSINESS:

 

a. Sign Cartographic’s Contract: On a motion by Bill, contracts for maintenance of maps and data collection were signed.

 

b. Bids for Library repair: The following bids were opened last meeting:

 

            Chambers Construction       $18,200

 

            Pat Stevens                          $  7,300

 

            KTM                                    $15,430

 

            C.A.S.                                  $  6,400 On a motion by Ed, Pat Stevens bid was accepted.

 

c. Abatements:  Vicki Morrill, Karen and Michael McManus, Albert and Sarah St. Hilaire: On a motion by Bill, the three abatements were approved.

d. Sign Pole Permit for Buzzell Road: On a motion by Bill, the pole permit for CMP was signed.

e. Thanksgiving Holiday schedule: Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23. f. Appointment to Saco River Corridor Commission and Election Warden: On a motion by Bill,  Roy Trafton was appointed to the Saco River Corridor Commission and Jennifer Roux was appointed Elections Warden.

 

5. OTHER BUSINESS: None

 

6. ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Town Clerk’s Office will close at 6pm on Thursday, November 1, for Election Training

 

Three vacancies on Mary Grant Committee, one Road Committee member

 

Alternate member of Saco River Corridor Commission, two Alternate members of the Warrant and Finance Committee.

 

Update on Sheriff: Ted reported that Selectmen had met with Sheriff Ouellette and the Shapleigh Selectmen. Ouellette is working on a contract.
