SELECTMEN'S MEETING

 

September 4, 2007

 

 

 

1.      PUBLIC FORUM:  Dennis noted that the chips have not yet been put down at the school playground and he understood that this was to be done before school started.  Mike said he will make inquiries.

 

 

      Dick said he would like to suggest any unanswered questions  be carried next meeting as old business.

 

 

      Dick reported on the Mary Grant property. Trails are finished, signs ordered, building painting is to be completed, lot mowed and will be hydro seeded tomorrow. An open house/dedication is scheduled for September 29.

 

 

      John Moore asked if the ruling “if a committee member misses more than 3 meeings, (un-excused), they are off the committee” is valid. Selectmen feel that this would be up to the committee's by-laws.

 

 

2.      APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as written.

 

 

3.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

 

 

4.      WARRANT: Approved and signed.

 

 

5.      OLD BUSINESS

 

(A) ASSESSING: Rod will be here on Friday.

 

      (B) CABLE CONTRACT: Meeting with Metrocast rescheduled for September 21.

 

      (C) FEE SCHEDULE: Tabled

 

 

6.      NEW BUSINESS

 

      (A) APPOINTMENTS:On a motion by Jim, Westley Ham was appointed to the Conservation Committee.

 

     

 

7.      ADJOURNMENT: Adjourned at 7:15 pm.
