SALUTE TO THE FLAG

1.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as written.

2.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

3. OLD BUSINESS: None

4. NEW BUSINESS:

Liquor License Hearing: Ted opened the hearing for renewal of liquor license for Crabby Bear Restaurant. He noted that the only police calls were routine – alarms going off, building check and one call for a vehicle accident. There were no comments from the public and no one from Crabby Bear present. Ted stated they will make their decision next meeting. The hearing was closed.

General Assistance Ordinance Hearing: Ted opened the hearing for the adoption of General Assistance Ordinance Appendices A and  B- E.   There was no comments from the public so the hearing was closed and on a motion by Ted, the appendices were adopted.

a. Sign Animal Welfare Contract: On a motion by Ted the  2013-2014 contract was signed.

b. Appointments: On a motion by Ted the following appointments were approved: Policy Committee members Virginia Shea, Elaine Beck, Debbie Casey and Steve Casey. Community Center Investigation Committee members Diane Pettis, Hope Baldwin, Theresa Walker-Estes, Mary Waterhouse and Elise Miller.

c. Computer Use Policy: On a motion by Ted, the policy was adodpted.

d. Open Roof Bids: One bid from The Roof Doctor was received for $23,000. Ted noted he did not think the bid met our specification so action was tabled.

e. Resignation acceptance: A letter from the Selectmen  of acceptance, with regret, of the resignation of Don Ouellette from the Fire and Rescue Departments was read.

5. OTHER BUSINESS: None

6. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Volunteers needed for 1 member and 1 alternate member of Saco River Corridor Commission,
