g. Follow-up to Road Workshop 11/25/2013: Ted reported that as the result of an altercation between the Road Commissioners, the Selectmen had called a special workshop on November 25.  Claims were made that a Road Commissioner had ”stolen” town salted sand and spread it on one of his private roads that he maintains. Ted, as a citizen of the Town, not as Selectman, reported it to the police. Ted also noted that the vote taken earlier this year, overwhelmingly showed that the Town wants two elected Road Commissioners. Elected means they answer to the Town not to the Selectmen for any wrong doings.

5.         OTHER BUSINESS:  David Winchell admitted he was the culprit, but it was in the morning and he did not want to call the selectmen at that time so he borrowed the sand. He has since replaced the salt and sand. Scott Mooney said Selectmen had not addressed the fact that David blocked the entrance to the salt shed.  Holly Mooney, Earl Foster, Bill Lotz and Dennis Long  all spoke their opinions. Ted noted that it is necessary for the two Road Commissioners to work together without such altercations, during these winter storms.
