      c. MILTON MILLS ROAD: Mike reported that he had been in Augusta this date and met with   MDOT officials. He delivered 14 letters of concern about the condition of the Milton Mills    Road.   The department has agreed to come and look at the road. Hopefully they will agree to do something about it. They also discussed Foxes Ridge Road. However, Mike cautioned that legislators were in a negative financial    mood. Mike also noted that some private road bills have been passed and he will have that  information available soon.

5.   NEW BUSINESS:

      (A) ROAD COMMISSIONERS: Scott Mooney reported it has been a very hard winter. His future projects are Sam Page Road (by the tennis courts) and the 4 corners. In the future, Nason Road will need paving.    The Road Commissioners appreciates the co-operation and support selectmen have given them. Dick Neal   asked about Youngs Ridge Road. Bernard noted that they had asked  for a $40,000  appropriation and the     Town meeting voted to let the Road Commissioner prioritize whether to do the Post Office area or Youngs     Ridge and he had chosen the ridge. The State will be asked to address the old culvert. Some poles need to be moved. The Post Office        area is mostly in need of ditching. Bernard Yeaton said one of his bigger  concerns is enforcement of the weight limit ordinance. Mike will check and if our ordinance complies with State Statutes, the sheriff or State Police can enforce. Another problem experienced this year is snow being pushed into roads. Canal Bridge is still a problem historically and safety wise. Dick said he would see that Bernard gets a copy of the new NH Bridge Report. Yeaton's projects are Goding Road, Covewood         culvert, Sam Page by the Post Office, East Shore Drive - big trees need to be taken down, Buzzell - tree laden area. Mike commended the Road Commissioners for the phenomenal job they have done this winter.

Dick announced the Comp Plan hearing on Thursday night, April 3, Warrant and Finance meeting with the auditor and the school, at the school April 8. Selectmen will meet at 6 pm April 8, June 3 referendum school vote.
