SELECTMEN’S MEETING

April 5, 2016

Motion by Ed Walsh, seconded by Bill Shields, to go into Public Hearing session to review the liquor license application submitted by Gregg Martinez, for Iron Tails Saloon, Route 109.  The motion passed 3-0.

The Chairman asked if all Board Members had reviewed the Police Report.  Both Bill Shields and Ed Walsh noted that they did and that they did not have any concerns.

Richard Nass asked when the underground gas tanks on that site would be removed.  Gregg Martinez responded that they are scheduled to be removed by late May because the deadline before a $1000 per day penalty is imposed by the DEP is June 15th.

Ed Walsh reminded Gregg Martinez that the Board needs a certificate that the fire suppression system has been inspected and is operational before the license can be approved.  Gregg Martinez stated that he is working with the company to get the required confirmation.
