TOWN OF ACTON

SELECTMEN’S MEETING

NOVEMBER 21, 2006

1. PUBLIC FORUM:

David Cote asked if the selectmen had received the tape from the Flat Ground Road Association meeting that was promised to them. Nancy said they have not. Cote questions the legality of some of the action taken and the "stacking of multiple votes". Nancy said the usual way of voting is 1 vote per parcel of land. Pam said there are several options as to the method of assessing the the lots.

Cote asked what the status of the gravel screening was - if any other permits are needed. Nancy said they have to check with DEP relative to wetlands. Cote said that Dennis Long had given false information to MSHA. Dennis requested that statement be included in the minutes. Jim asked Dennis if he was present when the MSHA representative was at Guerdon’s pit and Dennis said he was. Cote suggested that selectmen check with MMA to see if a Code of Ethics for elected officials is available.
