TOWN OF ACTON

SELECTMEN'S MEETING

MAY 13, 2008

PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing on an application for renewal of liquor license for K B Restaurants Enterprises was opened by Nancy.  Roy Trafton complained about the loud music late at night and about a light from the parking lot shining in his bedroom window.  Owner William Palladino said they will try to curb the noise and that the light is already shaded. Patrick Hannon asked about the hours of operation.  Palladino closes at 1 am and he has to close at midnight.  Nancy said she will check on this but believes they both must stop the sale of alcohol at midnight. Dick Neal  said he feels there should be two separate licenses- one for the Potting Shed and one for Willie's Ale Room. Palladino says they are both covered by the license to K B Enterprises. Dennis Long said he objects to their closing any later than midnight. Nancy said they will vote on the application on May 20. The hearing was then closed.
