3. DEPARTMENT HEAD / COMMITTEE CHAIR UPDATES

4. OLD BUSINESS:

A. MMA Action Plan: Mrs. Roux reported that she is trying to get quotes for painting the gym building but has had no response. She requested that if anyone is interested in providing a quote, please contact her.

B. Dog Warrant: She reported that there are still fourteen outstanding dog licenses and the calls have been made.

C. BCN Contract: Mrs. Roux is still reviewing the proposed contacts with both Verizon and BCN. The present contract doesn’t expire until August.

D. Road Committee Ad Hoc: Mrs. Roux reminded the Board that Paul Poyant had suggested obtaining information from the public to determine how the Committee should develop. Two citizens have expressed a willingness to serve on the Committee. Mrs. Miller would like to find out what the voters intended that the Road Committee’s purpose and responsibilities would be when they voted to continue the Committee. She expressed the opinion that a survey would be the best way to determine that intention. Mrs. Roux stated that providing a survey to residents that some into her office during tax time would be a good venue or a survey could be mailed to people that attended Town Meeting last year. However, she is sure that a majority of them will be unaware that an Acton Road Committee exists. Mrs. Roux will work with members of the existing Committee and the two people that have been working with her on this process to develop a survey.

5. NEW BUSINESS:

A. Open Ambulance Bids: The Board opened four bids for purchasing a new ambulance to be considered on a warrant during the School Budget Annual Meeting:

  1. Sugarloaf Ambulance Rescue Vehicles bid $288,528 for a PL Customer Series, 2017 Ford F550;

  2. Greenwood Emergency Vehicles, Attleboro, Massachusetts $279,845 for a Wheel Coach Ambulance;

  3. Specialty Vehicles, Attleboro, Massachusetts bid $277,918 for a Lifeline Emergency Vehicle;
