SELECTMEN'S MEETING

JUNE 10, 2008

1.      APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved with the addition of 5.(B).

2.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved with a correction in 5.(C). Omit last three word, (with his abatement) and add before.

3.      WARRANT: Approved and signed.

4.      OLD BUSINESS

a. ASSESSING: Brent is currently entering assessments from building permits. Lorraine was asked to set up an interview with the third applicant for the position of assessing agent, on Friday, if possible.

5.   NEW BUSINESS:

      (A) FUEL OIL FOR FITNESS BUILDING: Nancy received an offer to lock in with Emery       Mills Energy, for $4.90 per gallon. She  checked with Champaign and was told the price with      them  should be between $4.29 and 4.39. They will get back to her.

      (B) GRANT: Mike announced that the Fire Department has received a grant for $756 to   purchase a gas detector.

6.   ADJOURNMENT: Adjourned at 7:20 pm.

JUNE 17 - EXECUTIVE SESSION RELATIVE TO PERSONNEL MATTERS PURSUANT TO  1  MRSA, 405 (6) (A).

June 25 SMRPC Annual meeting at the Sanford Country Club. Mike, Nancy, Dick and Lorraine will be attending. Lorraine to check with Tom Cashin.
