            (D) SCHOOL CONSOLIDATION : Nancy reported she attended the meeting at the school on Thursday. Robert Kautz, former Superintendent at Sanford and Wells, has been appointed facilitator. He has suggested  as an alternative  that we consider joining with Wells. Both towns are high valuation towns and so we would not be a detriment to them, as we would have been with Sanford and SAD 60.  We would continue to keep our own school committee and to send our secondary students to Sanford. The only change would be that we would share administrative costs with Wells for the Superintendent and for Special Education. There is a meeting of the Re-organization committee on Monday at 5 pm.

Dennis Long complained that there is  untrue propaganda being spread around town about the   Warrant and Finance Committee Sub-Committees.  He stated that these committees are for fact- finding purposes only and the committees are not authorized to take any action.
