SELECTMEN'S MEETING

OCTOBER 30, 2008

1. SALUTE TO THE AMERICAN FLAG

2. APROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as written..

3. APROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

4. WARRANT: Approved and signed.

5. OLD BUSINESS:

            (a) ASSESSING: Joe will be in the office and in the field tomorrow.

6.  NEW BUSINESS:

            (A) ECOMAINE: Allison McCrady of ECOMAINE of Portland put on a presentation of one sort,single stream recycling and how she feels this could save the Town some money.

            (B) APPOINT  WARRANT & FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBER: On a motion by Tony, Larissa Crockett was appointed to finish this fiscal year to replace Percival Lowell, who resigned.

            (C)SIGN POLE PERMIT: On a motion by Mike, a pole permit for Sam Page Road was signed.

            (D) SIGN CABLE EQUIPMENT PURCHASE: Mike read from the invoice, the list of equipment that the Town will be purchasing for televising meetings and events.

           

Nancy reported she had attended the last meeting of the re-organization group at the school on Monday. They are now considering sending a letter of interest to the towns of Sanford, Lebanon, and   Wells,and possibly other towns, to see if there is any interest in forming an AOS.
