SELECTMEN'S MEETING

 

APRIL 23, 2009

 

 1.    SALUTE TO THE FLAG 

 2.    APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as written.

 3.    APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Approved as written.

 4.    SIGNING THE WARRANT: Approved and signed.

 5.    OLD BUSINESS:

 

            (a) Cable TV Committee: The next meeting is Saturday, April 25 at 10 am. The lumber and sheetrock has been delivered to make a room in the Town Hall to store the televising equipment.

 

            (b) Update on Town Hall Building Project: All bids have been turned over to Code Enforcement Officer Ken Paul. It may be necessary to re-bid the project because of the diversity of the work to be done quoted in the bids. If so, Ken will formulate work needed to be done specifications.

           

 6.    NEW BUSINESS:

 

            (A) OPEN BIDS FOR TOWN POUND: The following bids were received:

 

                        David Winchell           $5,000

 

                        Patrick Stevens           $7,500

 

                        Moulton                      $10,500

 

            The bids were turned over to the Conservation Committee for their perusal and recommendation.

 

            (B) INTEREST AMOUNT TO WRITE OFF: On a motion by Dennis, all unpaid interest less than $5 will be written off.

 

(C)  EMERGENCY MEETING TO SIGN SCHOOL WARRANT: Because the legal wording of certain articles had to be rewritten, Selectmen will hold an emergency meeting at 6 pm on April 27, to sign the warrant.
